           At the beginning of the May, a journalist from one of the major newspapers of our Country called our company to ask several questions about our Appointment by Internet (İnternetten randevu) program. While surfing on Internet, our program in SSK Kdz. Ereğli Hospital was seen and the thought “there are also positive things in the country, such a modern application in a SSk Hospital should be presented in news” was realised.

          It is a fact that positive and pleasant things are happening in the country. But, if you are running while your rivals are flying, that means that you are not proceeding. You need to fly instead of running; what is more, you need to fly faster to remove the distance between.

         It is a pityful statement saying “we missed the industrial reforms, lets not miss the Information Technologies reforms” which is commonly used when two of the persons in informatics gather, where it is a consent that we are unable to define and produce a solution for the problems nationally.

          Data processing is a concept that has hardware and software components. As well known; the hardware part is commonly named as computers and the environment products are forming a market that we invest the foreign countries by imports. On software side, especially Operating systems, Internet and Database software are produced by software giants of number about ten. In our country there is one field left for the domestic data processors and that is application software for certain sector solutions. But if the necessary precautions will not be held, our name wont be spelled in this field also.

         If you are not in the condition to produce, that means you dont have the right to expend; in other words you spend according to your production.

          Like Phoenix, our country was born from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire. A nation, that had self confidence and saying “success is for the ones claiming, I will succeed” was created. However, the recent improprieties demoralised us all. Success was not awarded, dissucceed was not punished. The saying “searching calf under the ox” became the natural style of reaction.

          Maybe we are not in the worse condition to born from the ashes but the improprieties should be deleted from the national structure. Recent news display this necessity. The collapsed buildings in Bingöl quake with our children (or should I say our future) down below; quadrillion dimensional improprities with under house arrested SSk General Managers and more by Lancet Operation.

          Nationally, we long for success. It is a fact that the success of our Researchers and the Scientists abroad make us very happy. Last year, we all witnessed the pride that the third degree of World Cup brought to us.

         The major or minor successes obtained personally in business life do not satisfy us. We wish to look forward with confidence and get rid of the pessimism nationally. We dont want to be overwhelmed by the countries that we used to compare each other. We wish to get rid of the “we are like this complex” that became to be an inferiority complex. We wish to be a producing country not an expenditure one. And the most important thing, we know that we possess the human and moral power to obtain these.
