Mr. Minister Akdağ is in Health Staff Meeting

Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ met with the committee consisting of Treatment Services Director Associate Professor İrfan Şencan, Staff General Directorate Acting-Director Hikmet Çolak, Vice-Director Abdullah Yılmaz, Maternal and Infant Health Director Rıfat Köse, Basic Health Services Agent Halil Güleç and with Gaziantep Health Staffs in Cahit Nakıpoğlu Primary School on the date of 29th May 2010. After that he held a evaluation meeting with Provincial Health Director Acting-Director Dr. Serdar Tolay, Health Vice-Directors, Department Chiefs, Health Department Chiefs and Hospital Head Physicians. 

In the opening speech of Health Staff Meeting; Mr. Akdağ indicated that it will be more useful to talk face to face for healthcare problems and he indicated also that the meetings that were held in 81 Province were feedback meetings.

 

Mr. Recep Akdağ also added that healthcare sector is very rough for human being. He said that we are on the right way and we are a good sample for many countries but we have to work harder. We started to export healthcare systems to many foreign countries such as Afghanistan, Sudan, Yemen, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia and Pakistan. We are sometimes working in cooperation with them so we teach and we learn, he said.

He also said that we are among the 53 countries regarding number of nurse and we will do our best so as to increase this rate and service quality as a developing country. It will be very useful to increase the capacity of Family Practice.

 

He indicated that Ministry Hospitals are financially in a better condition than university hospitals. We are going to ameliorate structurally the condition of Ministries, Presidency of the Council of Higher Education, SSI and University hospitals by balancing the need assessment. 

Indicating personnel recruitment of 4A and 4B in June, Mr. Minister Akdağ said that 4B staffs would continue to work in a better condition and so they could offer a better service.
