Sisoft Attended ICT Summit Eurasia - Bilişim Zirvesi 12 as Main Sponsor

            Opened by the video participation of Minister Binali Yıldırım,  ICT Summit Eurasia – Bilişim Zirvesi'12 welcomed participants as one of the most important organizations of the world by uniting international business men within a commercial synergy. “Being excluded from Informatics means being excluded from the life itself. Let no one be without Informatics” said Yıldırım in his opening video speech. Summit hosted 300 speakers from 30 countries and 7 thousands audience for three days.

            Due to a last-minute change, Mr. Binali Yıldırım, the Minister of Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications, sent a video message from Esenboğa Airport in the opening ceremony of ICT Summit – Bilişim Zirvesi'12 the theme of which is “Next Step”. Dr. Tayfun Acaner the President of Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), Serpil Timuray the Executive President of Vodafone, Bum Cho Coo the Senior Vice President of Samsung Electronics, Orhan Akbulut the Atos Ceo for Turkey and Güldane Taşdemir General Director of Interpromedia also appeared in opening ceremony.

            Sisoft attended the “Next Step in e-Health, m-Health” Conferences as Main Sponsor in the event held in Halic Convention Center between 11-13 September. During ICT Summit Eurasia – Bilişim Zirvesi'12, Health personnel paid great attention to Sisoft's web-based software, cloud technology products and mobile applications presented in the stand which was prepared in accordance with Digital Hospital Concept. Dr. Ekrem Atbakan  Deputy Secretary of TC Ministry of Health, Dr. Hakkı Ozturk General Director of Health Information Systems, Dr. Unal Hulur the Head of e-Health Department in General Directorate of Health Information Center and Dr. Tayfun Acaner the President of Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), honored Sisoft by visiting Sisoft Digital Hospital.

            Making the opening speech of “Next Step in e-Health, m-Health” Conference, Omer Siso the General Director of Sisoft stated that Health Information System in Turkey has advanced far more than the ones in America and that dynamism of Ministry of Health contributed to promotion of health informatics to higher levels. Beside the technology development in Turkey from past to present, Omer Siso also emphasized the development process of health and health informatics. He also stated that he made his impossible dreams come true and added new ones and will keep doing so. “Our Ministry has applied Health Transition Program since 2003. Thanks to Emergency Health Systems, we are now able to reach every corner of the country. Main Purpose of this Program is providing convenience for our citizens.” said Hakkı Ozturk, General Directorate of Ministry of Health, Health Information Systems. Dr. Ekrem Atbakan the Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Health emphasized that the title of this year's summit is next step and “We also need to start discussing what is next after next” he said. “We carry the responsibility of 75 million people on our shoulders in all matters from data security and privacy to service quality. We also wish to include our citizens in the process in near future. We have to work harder and more devotedly” said Dr. Ekrem Atbakan. Agnito's Morten Hjelmsce  said that their sole focus point is health and also added that Agnito is a leading company in 'closing and pull marketing'.

            As part of the Event, Dr. Unal Hulur and Simsek Mert from Ministry of Health, Dr.Nejat Cakmak from Sisoft, Erhan Kumas from Turk Telekom, Hulya Akyurek from SGK (Social Security Institution) and Prof. Dr. Asuman Dogac from SRDC company attended “Electronic Health Record – Is Turkey Ready For That?” panel. While Dr. Nejat Cakmak emphasized that this work is too important to leave only to software sector, Dr. Unal Hulur who was also moderator of the panel, specificially noted that the regulation power belongs to Ministry of Health. When a health data is entered from any location, it should be accessible from any place.“We agree to work in cooperation with everybody” he said. Erhan Kumas expressed that standardization is of great importance for Ministry of Health.
“What is expecting us in Mobile Health?” and “What is next step for HIS Companies” panels held within the scope of  Next Step in e-Health, m-Health Conference included the presentations:

–  “What will be the benefits of Digital Marketing for Health Sector” by PortalGrup Healthcare's Elcin Tuncer Seyman

–  “A futuristic Insight to Health” by Dr. Cenk Tezcan, Member of the Board of Futurists Association

            Fatih Sahin Vice General Director of Sisoft, Prof. Dr Alper Cihan Vice Rector of Istanbul University and Rasim Cetin Vice Gerenral Director of Datasel attended the “What is Next Step for HIS Companies” panel with moderator Kemal Kaplan who is Acıbadem Health Group's IT director. Sahin stated that those companies unable to catch up with the developing technology are bound to disappear and the only solution is to have all software as web-based and mobile.
